my, reading this warmed my heart. It made me really how I distant I've grown from my family.

lucky for you and your readers, I AM a licensed child family psychologist, and so I can say that it’s completely normal to outgrow siblings, parents, and just relatives in general

I had chills reading this.

It’s so easy to get familiar with our siblings. We start treating our relationship with them as something that can outlive time, while that is correct in a sense, it isn’t necessarily healthy.. because we stop watering the connection we have with them, and it becomes mostly superficial, lacking depth..
